XIII. The *Paṇḍitārādhya carita*, a Telugu Śaiva work of perhaps the early 13th century, gives virtually the same story as the *Paraṇi* with slight variations and the relevant passage has been reproduced and translated by Dr. N. Venkata Ramanayya at pp. 88-9 of his *Trilōcana Pallava and Karikāla Cōḷa*.*
