⁷ kaṇikāḥ dāsakarmakarasūpakārāṇāmato'nyad udanikāpūpikebhyaḥ prayacchet. AŚ, II. 15. The term kaṇikā here presumably means a broken part of a grain. The workmen were given the broken grain after threshing.
