⁴ *sá vṛtrahéndraḥ kṛṣṇayóniḥ purandaródásīrairyadví...RV, II. 20.7. Sāyaṇa’s comm. But Geldner suggests that dasiḥ implies understood púraḥ, and that the poet is thinking in terms of pregnancy.*
