⁴ *teṣāmantakaram yuddham dehapāpapraṇāśanam; śūdraviṭkṣatraviprāṇām dharmyam svargyam yaśaskaram*. Mbh., VIII, 32.18. The Cr. Edn. reads *vīrāṇām* in place of *viprāṇām*, but the latter occurs in MS T1. 3G and seems to be more suitable.
