³ *yo brāhmaṇo rājanyo vaiśyaśudro vā’sura iva bahupuṣṭassyāttasya gṛhādāhṛtyādadhyāt puṣṭikāmasya.* Āp. Śr. S. (Garbe’s edn.), V. 14.1. Of course the adjective *bahupuṣṭaḥ* is applied to the brāhmaṇa, the rājanya and the vaiśya as well but seems to be of special significance in the case of the śūdra, who is described as being removed from the fire.
