Candra (I) (personified)—pointed out, in the Amṛtamathana, to Hari, Rāhu drinking nectar in the guise of a deva. Hence Rāhu is said to chase the moon in parvas. Fought with Rāhu in a Devāsura war. Bhā. VIII. 9. 24-26; 10. 31.
