His name was proposed by Rukmiṇī’s elder brother for marriage. Went to Kuṇḍina ready to marry Rukmiṇī; distressed at her being taken away by Kṛṣṇa and his friend Rukmi’s defeat; he was consoled by Jarāsandha and returned to his city.³ An enemy of Kṛṣṇa, he attained yoga at the Rājasūya. He attained Hariloka through hatred. (See Śiśupāla).⁴ Married Śrutaśravas who gave birth to Sunita.⁵
