A few knuckle bones are reported from KALIBANGAN. RANG MAHAL and TAXILA have yielded them in the historical levels. They are used in a game similar to dice but possess four flat sides, the other two being round. The four flat sides are worked with markings numbering one opposite six and three opposite four. The specimens from RANG MAHAL belong to a small bovid and are smoothened at the top and bottom. They belong to the late Kushan times.
