An ornate disc from VAISALI, dated 100 B.C. to A.D 100, has a decorative edge and a central circle containing a mutilated figure surrounded by representations of the mother goddess and conventional trees. The presence of the mother goddess on these rings and discs associates them with the cult of Śakti including that of Śrī as objects of daily worship. [*See also* 12.6.]
