Seals and sealings.* Seals or sealings of cultic value, dating from Gupta and post-Gupta times and bearing expressions like *jitaṁ bhagavatā* from PURANA QILA and *namo bhagavate Vāsudevaya* from BHITA eulogizing Viṣṇu, and Buddhist *dhāraṇīs* and creed *ye dharmā* etc., from many monastic sites [12.8] appear to be of magico-religious significance.
