The upper part of the Upper Pleistocene of the NARMADA can be correlated with the deposits of the GODAVARI, the GHOD and the PRAVARA valleys from where we have a score of ¹⁴C dates more or less of the same range along with identical fauna. Morphologically the fauna from the Lower Narmada Group which is associated with the Boulder Conglomerate appears to be older than the recovered from the GHOD, the PRAVARA and the Manjra valleys.
