(d) **Tilwara:** In the two phases of TILWARA hardly 40 bones, represented by the cattle and sheep/goat, are identifiable, mostly the former. The characters of teeth and the epistropheus indicate the domestic variety. The sheep/goat are represented by phalanges, metapodia and humerii. They also indicate domestication. Another interesting find is a broken third molar of *Equus* sp. from Phase II. A few molluscan shells were collected along with the bones. Only a few of the bones are charred, though the majority of the animals must have been used as food.
