v1.c21.s9.11

A variety of types is represented in the artefacts of the Copper Hoard culture: antennae swords [19.2.2], socketed axes [6.2], axe-adzes, trunnion axes, celts, harpoons [19.2.1], bar celts, spearheads, rings and anthropomorphs [19.2.3]. Without going into controversies, it may be stated that only the antennae sword, the anthropomorph and the harpoon are distinctive of the culture and its area of distribution is essentially the Ganga valley, where the metal is in abundance. In fact the GUNGERIA hoard alone weighs more than 400 kg.
