*19.2.7 Fort Munro sword.* This ornamented bronze sword, 44·5 cm long, cast in one piece, from Fort Munro, Punjab (Pakistan), now in Edinburgh Museum, has a modern appearance (Smith, 1905, p. 243) and betrays w. Asian influence. It has a medial rib. The crescent-shaped hilt is well-made. [According to Lal, 1951, this sword should not be regarded as belonging to the Copper Hoard culture.]
