v1.c9.s1.17

Maharashtra, which should have been regarded as belonging to the upper Deccan, have been placed under c. India. As the term 'c. Indian megaliths' has been widely current (perhaps as a hangover from the name of the British province of C. Province), it has been thought expedient not to disturb the prevailing nomenclature.
