Only rarely do we see any grave offerings, and where they exist tney are few. At BHIMBETKA they include pieces of ochre, bone ornaments and pieces of antlers. In one case a number of small grinding stones were arranged by the side of the body. In the later phase of BAGOR clay pots, originally no doubt containing food, and pieces of meat, now surviving as bare bones, and copper objects were placed with the dead. In one case a person was buried wearing a necklace of bone and stone beads, and a terracotta spindle whorl was placed near its feet.
