The shapes in the other wares are the deep bowl with sharpened externally everted featureless rim and with sagger, pedestalled and ring bases, the sides of some being almost straight. The dish with flat base and the jar exhibiting varieties of rims, etc., are the other forms. Decorations consist of incised lines—horizontal, vertical or oblique—and thumb-nail impressions particularly on the rims. The lines in groups are not executed with care; they resemble roughening of the surface and are sometimes also found on the inner side as well.
