Animals have been found interred in oval pits with narrow top and broad bottom with lime-plastered walls, identical in construction with those of the human burials. But the size is a little smaller with the diameters of the pits varying from 90 cm to 1·05 m. A rare exception is an irregular pit with filling mostly of ash and stone pieces. The skeletons are usually oriented n.-s. with the head towards the n., a solitary exception being e.-w. Both complete and fragmentary inhumations were prevalent.
