Yet another manifestation of the Neolithic culture has been brought to light at KOLDIHAWA, Dt Allahabad, along the bank of the BELAN river. Its geographical distribution as also its distinctive traits remain to be confirmed. There is however a good case for recognizing another Neolithic region, to cover Rajasthan and Gujarat, which, in view of the findings at LANGHNAJ and also the palynological evidence from Rajasthan, seems to be a potential area for further research on early farming.
