**Kamauli**, Dt Varanasi. Excavation revealed two Pds: Pd I, red ware, ochrous in appearance and with a tendency to rub off, and parallel-sided chert blades; and Pd II, late historical structures, pottery and other finds. The site is well known for its large yield of Gāhaḍavāla copper-plates, which may be associated with Pd II. *IAR 1963-4.*
