v1.c3.s5.31
Ūrdara.—This word occurs once in the Rigveda,¹ when reference is made to filling Indra with Soma as one fills an Ūrdara with grain (Yava). Sāyaṇa renders it ‘granary,’ but Roth² and Zimmer³ seem more correct in simply making it a measure for holding grain, or ‘garner.’
