Rāthitarī-putra, ‘son of a female descendant of Rathitara,’ is the name of a teacher in the last Vamśa (list of teachers) of the Bṛhadāraṇyaka Upaniṣad, the pupil of Bhālukī-putra, according to the Kāṇva recension (vi. 5, 1), of the Krauñcikī-putras according to the Mādhyamdina (vi. 4, 32).
