The name Kacchapa giri (q.v.) found in the Mahāvaṃsa Ṭīkā⁴ is apparently a wrong reading for Kassapagiri, in which case the identification is important, for here we have “Issarasamaṇasaṅkhāte Kacchapagirivihāre.” See also Kassapavihāra.
