It is probably this same Kamsa Bārānasiggaha who is referred to in the Tesakuna Jātaka, by the owl Vessantara.² There the scholiast explains Bārānasiggaha as catūhi saṅgahavatthūhi Bārānasim gahetvā vattanto.
