The Buddha certainly paid other visits besides these to Kapilavatthu. On one such visit he preached the Kaṇha Jātaka.¹³ Various Sākyans went to see him both at the Nigrodhārāma and at the Mahāvana, among them being Mahānāma,¹⁴ Nandiya,¹⁵ Vappa,¹⁶ and perhaps Sārakāṇi.¹⁷
