**Kakkatarasadāyaka-vimāna Vatthu.**—The story of a farmer in **Magadhakhetta**, who gave a meal consisting of broth made of crab to a monk suffering from earache, and cured him. The farmer was born after death in a palace in **Tāvatiṃsa**. At the entrance to the palace was the figure of a ten-clawed crab, finished in gold.¹
