Khujjuttarā is identified with the slave-girl in the **Uraga Jātaka**⁸ and in the **Bhisa Jātaka**,⁹ the nurse in the **Culla-Sutasoma Jātaka**¹⁰ and the hunchback in the **Kusa Jātaka**.¹¹ Owing to her personal experience (*abhijānato*) she had the power of recalling her past births.¹²
