1. Giri.—A Nigaṇṭha who occupied the Nigaṇṭhārāma, later destroyed by Vaṭṭagāmaṇi to make room for the construction of Abhayagiri Vihāra. The Nigaṇṭha's name was included in that of the new Vihāra.¹
