Gundāvana.—A forest in Madhurā. Mahā Kaccāna stayed there and was visited by Avantiputta, king of Madhurā, to whom he preached the Madhurā Sutta,¹ and by the brahmin Kaṇḍarāyana.² The full name of the forest seems to have been Kaṇhagundāvana.³ v.l. Kuṇḍavana.
