**Jayampati.**—Son of **Okkāka**, king of **Kusāvatī**, and of his wife **Sīlavatī**. He was the younger brother of **Kusa**. Whenever **Kusa** wished to see **Pabhāvatī** **Jayampati** would represent him.¹ He is identified with **Ānanda**. For details see **Kusa Jātaka**.
