Tavakaṇṇika, Tavaṇṇika, Tavakiṇṇoka.—A householder who realised Nibbāna from knowledge of the Tathāgata. He is mentioned in a list of such householders, but nothing further is known of him.¹ Is he connected with Tikaṇṇa (q.v.)? The Commentary² says he was also called Tapakaṇṇika.
