**Tiramsiya Thera.**—An arahant. In a previous birth he was a hermit. He saw the Buddha **Siddhattha** and spoke verses in praise of him, extolling his lustre as surpassing that of the sun and of the moon. Sixty-one kappas ago he was a king named **Ñāṇadhara.**¹
