In the time of Vipassī Buddha he was a chariot-maker and gave the Buddha a stool made of sandalwood. Fifty-seven kappas ago he was four times king under the name of Santa (Bhavanimmitta).¹ He is probably identical with Phalakadāyaka of the Apadāna.²
