6. Dhammakitti.—Called Dhammakitti Mahāsāmi, author of the Saddhamasaṅgaha. His teacher was also called Dhammakitti, well-known in Ceylon. Dhammakitti Mahāsāmi came to Ceylon from Yodhapura (Ayojjha ?) and, having acquired much merit, returned there, where he lived in the Laṅkārāma, built by Paramarāja.¹
