**Aggapaṇḍita.**—A native of Burma and author of the **Lokuppattipakaraṇa**, written at Pagan in the thirteenth century.¹ The Piṭakatthamain calls the work **Lokuppattipakāsani**.² The Sāsanavaṃsa³ speaks of three monks by the name of Aggapaṇḍita: **MahāAggapaṇḍita** (evidently our author), **DutiyaAggapaṇḍita** (his saddhivihārika), and **TatiyaAggapaṇḍita** (his nephew), all of Arimaddanapura and all famed for their learning.
