**Pajāka.**—A king. **Lambacūḷaka** was in his kingdom and **Meṇḍissara** (*q.v.*) lived there with his followers.¹ But, elsewhere,² we are told that **Lambacūḷaka** was in the kingdom of **Caṇḍappajota**. Does this mean that the kingdom of **Caṇḍappajjota** was identical with that of **Pajāka**? ¹ J. iii. 463. ² J. v. 133.
