4. Pañcālacanda.—Son of Cūḷanī Brahmadatta. He was sent by Mahosadha to be kept as hostage to King Videha, when Cūḷanī threatened to harm the latter; but Videha treated him like a younger brother. Pañcālacandī was sister to Pañcālacanda.¹
