**Rattipupphiya Thera.**—An arahant. In the time of Vipassī Buddha he was a hunter, and, seeing the Buddha in the forest, he offered him some flowers which bloom by night (rattikam puppham). Eight kappas ago he was a king named Suppasanna.¹
