**Laṅkānagara, Laṅkāpura.**—One of the chief cities of the **Yakkhas** in Ceylon. **Polamittā**, wife of **Mahākālasena**, the chief Yakkha of Ceylon, was a princess of **Laṅkāpura.**¹ **Kuveṇī** herself was evidently from Laṅkāpura, because it was there she went when she was abandoned by Vijaya.²
