Vanasa (Vanasāvhaya ?).—A city, lying between Vedisā and Kosambī, on the road taken by Bāvari’s disciples.¹ The Commentary states² that this was another name for Tumbavanagara (*v.l.* Pavana), and that it was also called Vanasāvatthi.
