ABHIṢYANTA. A son born to Mahārāja Kuru by Vāhinī. He had three brothers named Caitraratha, Muni and Janamejaya. Abhiṣyanta was the younger son of Aśvavān and elder brother of Caitraratha. (M.B. Ādi Parva, Chapter 94, Verses 50-51).
