GRTSAPATI. He was the son of Kapila, a King of the Pūru dynasty. He had a brother called Kauśika. Gṛtsapati had sons in all the four castes, namely, Brāhmaṇa, Kṣatriya, Vaiśya and Śūdra. (Chapter 277, Agni Purāṇa).
