1) Genealogy. Descended from Viṣṇu thus :- Brahmā-Atri-Candra-Budha-Purūravas- Āyus - Nahuṣa- Yayāti- Anudruhyu - Sabhānara - Kālanara - Śṛñjaya - Uśīnara-Śibi. Śibi was born to Uśīnara of Mādhavī, daughter of Yayāti.
