Meruppabha ( Meruprabha ) Meha's(1) previous life as an elephant born on the south bank of river Gaṃgā in the Viṃjhagiri region. On the occasion of a conflagration he remembered his previous life of an elephant called Sumeruppabha born in the valley of the Veyaddhagiri(2).¹
