1. Majjhimā (Madhyamā) A town where Titthayara Mahāvīra went from Jambhiyagāma in the very night of his obtaining omniscience. It is said to be situated at a distance of twelve yojanas from Jambhiyagāma. Mahāvīra's second samosaraṇa (religious assembly) was held and he delivered here his sermon.¹ It is the same as Pāvā-Majjhimā.
