Mattiyāvai (Mṛttikāvatī): Capital of Āriya country Dasaṇṇa.¹ Dasaṇṇa is Daśārṇa, i.e., East Malwa. Its capital was Vidisā, modern Besnagar near Bhilsa.² It is not known whether Mattiyāvai was the same.
