Mahāpaumaddaha ( Mahāpadmadraha ) A big lake situated in the heart of the Mahāhimavanta(3) mountain. It is two thousand yojanas long, one thousand yojanas broad and ten yojanas deep. There is a great lotus-tree in it, therefore it is called Mahāpaumaddaha. Rivers Rohiā(1) and Harikantā have their sources in it.¹
