sand vyākaraṇas and eightyfour thousand padas,³ whereas according to Namdi it has the same number of adhyayanas etc. but a different number of padas, i. e. two lakh and eightyeight thousand padas.⁴ Abhayadevasūri endorses the view of Namdi.⁵ At the end it is mentioned that it has 138 śatakas (sections) and 1925 uddśas (chapters).⁶ There is quoted a gāthā in the work, which says that this Aṃga contains 84 lakh padas.⁷
