Vaddhamāṇapura (Vardhamānapura) A city where Vijayavaddhamāṇa(1) park was situated. There was a shrine of yakṣa Māṇibhadda(1) in it. King Vijayamitta(1) reigned there. Merchant Dhaṇadeva(1) belonged to this city. Mahāvīra had paid visit to it.¹ It is identified with modern Bur-dwan in Bengal.²
