*sāmant-āmātya-dūtānām=anyeṣām=c=ābhyupāgame śayanīyāsana-siddhānnaṃ na dāpayet*, refers to the obligation of the people to supply beds, seats and boiled or unboiled rice to feudatory rulers, ministers, messengers and others encamped in a village; see *a-kūra-cullaka-vināśi-khaṭv-āvāsa*, etc. See *Ep.
